A plump, spherical Snezhnayan fish, this species might look like a distant cousin to the pufferfish found throughout Teyvat. However, the two actually belong to entirely separate lineages. When the Fishing Association first recorded it, its code name was "Snowland Roundfin." After more than a dozen generations of anglers, this informal name gradually evolved into "Snowfin."\nThe Cream Snowfin, thanks to its near-pure-white coloration and its scarcity, is considered the most precious of Snezhnayan fish. Legend has it that the moment its waters grow even slightly impure, other colors begin to leach into its body. Several fairy tales cast it as their protagonist, telling the dreamlike story of a gifted young angler-lad following one of these Snowfins to the "Kingdom of Cream" — a story that briefly caused a citywide cream shortage.
